Coming of Age Credo I see life as a journey through a set of constantly changing paths. I see my beliefs and ideas as a map of this path world, a map that must change with its world. The following is my current map.
I believe in:
God as a self-aware universe.
God also as the combined energy of all life everywhere.
People as creatures that have understanding, feeling, the ability to care for each other, and the ability to dream.
Freedom as responsibility and an opportunity.
Risk as a bringer of change and a demonstration of freedom.
Change as something unavoidable and usually beneficial.
Time as a defining and also limiting force.
Moments as a little bit of time in which reality is different from the usual.
Appreciating the moments as a way of living and leaving all boundaries behind.
Reality as a matter of perspective.
Truth as a purpose for life and an undefinable quantity.
Knowledge as a way to truth and a useful tool.
Understanding as the result of curiosity and a better way to truth.
Justice as applied truth.
Inner strength as the ability to make the best of any situation.
Leadership as the ability to help others make the best of any situation.
Faith as a sense of direction.
Love as a purpose for life, a way to happiness, and a strongly binding force.
Happiness as reason for living.
Spirituality as doing something for the world or people or God and having fun while doing it.
